How Tryout Week works
Clubs pay for verification review and promotional features. Reviews, ratings, and cost data cannot be purchased or altered by any club.
What the Verified badge means
Verified means one thing: verified business identity. We check that the people behind the page really run the club, using a code sent to the club's own email domain or reviewed business documents. The badge never implies quality, safety, or our endorsement, and paying for it never changes reviews, ratings, or cost data.
Every club is listed, always
We list every club we can find from public records, whether or not the club works with us. Clubs can correct facts and claim their page. They cannot pay to be removed, and they cannot delete listings or reviews.
Where reviews come from
Club pages show Google reviews, clearly labeled and linked to Google. Tryout Week's own parent reviews are written only by parents who prove their player was on the club's roster. Clubs can reply to any review. No club can edit, hide, reorder, or pay to remove one.
Where cost data comes from
Season costs are shown as ranges from published club prices and industry research until enough parents have submitted what they actually paid. A club can post its own price, labeled as posted by the club. Parent cost data is verified against invoices before it feeds any public number.
Your contact info
When you ask a club a question, your contact info goes to that club only, and only because you checked the box that says so. We never sell leads, never share them with other clubs, and never charge per lead.
