My daughter does the wave beach program here and it has the most fantastic coaches, director, and kids there is!! We drive 2 days a week up here which takes us almost 2 hours to get here, because it is the best beach volleyball there is. My daughter never played beach volleyball ever before and the wave beach coaches are so positive, wonderful and kind. All of the coaches teach the kids the techniques and fundamentals of how to play beach volleyball in a fun positive environment. There is no judgement and everyone helps one another and supports one another and the kids grow fast and learn so quickly of how to properly play and love playing beach volleyball. Wave got my daughter from never playing beach to a D1 college scholarship of beach volleyball where my daughter has her dream come true of being able to play beach volleyball and indoor!!! It is so wonderful and fun when we are up here at wave. My daughter always looks forward to seeing all her favorite wonderful coaches and wonderful friends. Thank you all so much for everything! and thank you to the beach director Matt and kaili and the most wonderful, amazing coaches Owen, Jamie, Kendall, Nick, Cameron, (and Emily and Tailor). We love you all and are so grateful to have met you all and been a part of this wonderful Wave beach family!! You all helped make my daughter's dreams come true and we thank you so much!! 🤗🏐💖💕🥰😘🏐🫠🏐💕💖
Their facilities are large, clean and productive! There are a lot of players but they seem to be well staffed accordingly. Everyone seems to be friendly and approachable. We came from a different club that lacked a lot of what Wave provides so we are very happy we made the switch even though it’s a little further drive it’s been worth it so far. The location and parking is very convenient.
Love this place! Clean facility with lots of courts for kids and adults to practice on. My daughter started her first year here and the coaches have been more than helpful in getting her up to speed. Will recommend to anyone.
Everything about WAVE is a WIN! We spent the summer in SD & signed our girls up for Beach & Indoor Volleyball. WAVE was our girls favorite part of being in SD! They had never played before. The facility & staff were superior! Our girls were encouraged, supported & taught so much. They gained valuable skills & self confidence that landed them spots on our hometown teams! (Over girls that have played for years!) The value that WAVE gave our girls was a true gift. If you have a child who has never played or wants to improve their game, WAVE is a must! The affordable classes, day and time options are incredible! We know that because of WAVE our girls have a love for the sport. Thank you WAVE, we miss you! If we come back to SD , or even pop back for a visit, WAVE is on the itinerary!!
8/6/26 update: 2/2026 of her junior year… our granddaughter committed to play for Colorado Christian University. 7/2026 selected to play for Wave 18-1’s. 🏆 Best club. Best coach award: 🤩Casee Case 🤩 The coaches, parents and girls on our previous two teams were amazing. Such a wonderful “golden” experience. Can’t wait for December!!! ———————————- 7/2024. Our granddaughter just accepted Wave over “another” offer. I talked to several moms that their daughters did the same thing. I asked them why? Like our family, they all said, “Wave has a better atmosphere and is so organized.” Also, Wave’s facility is beautiful and BONUS . . . has fan bleachers, balcony, and some bleachers are even padded. 👊🏻 Also, who doesn’t love the aquamarine color?!
