We’ve had a wonderful experience with Saddleback Volleyball Club over the years. Our daughter has participated in many of their programs, including club volleyball, and we’ve loved watching her grow not only as a player but also in her love for the sport. Coach Shannon and Ralph have been incredible coaches, always providing encouragement and building confidence. We’re very grateful to be part of such a supportive volleyball community!
DO NOT waste your money on the club!!!!! Owners are extremely rude, unprofessional and only care about pocketing money. The customer service bar here is 6 ft under. The girls are the LAST priority. If you have an issue with the club or complaints YOU WILL be KICKED OUT and not given a refund. You are also charged a $10 entrance fee and $20 parking to show up to your kids tournament for the program you already PAID $800 for them to be in. Your kids are also belittled because they don't even get the royalty of having a number on their jersey. My main question is: WHAT AM I PAYING FOR!?!?! Owners will also tag team on you, not reason with your complaints and make them seem like the best thing since sliced bread. Coaches are also highly unprofessional. I found coaches texting the girls in group chats. The owners will also abuse the power of having more girls in their program than they can support then LIE to you to make them look better when you have a concern. If I could I would give the club a 0. I please advise you to NOT have your children join this corrupt league!!!
My daughter has played volleyball at Saddleback for almost two years in their VolleyHigh program. My daughter has fallen in love with volleyball through the excellent coaching, emphasis on sportsmanship and the joy of tournaments. The coaches are professional with a great balance of both teaching the game and encouragement. The Director and Owners have been easily accessible and open to any questions and concerns. I’m excited to see my daughter develop as an athlete under the professional care and guidance of Saddleback.
My daughter plays at saddleback. It’s our first year and it’s terrible.. Our coach has never been social with the parents and just talks through the girls, all this money for no communication from the coach is terrible. We are also more than half way through the season and we see no progress in the girls skills. Mike, i’m assuming the head of everything only pays attention to the more higher girls for example 15-1,14-1 14-2s etc. but anything lower, they do not care about the lower teams. At first, the club was good and honestly the best but my daughter got on the lowest teams and they completely forgot about us. This is unacceptable and a waste of money and time. Definitely going to be switching clubs, do not come here if you want to save your money. Speaking from experience.
The tryouts were chaotic. Instead of providing several days where they could receive a number of girls per day that they could handle, they made more than 200 girls come at once when they didn’t have the infrastructure nor the proper amount of trainers to offer a reasonable evaluation. Girls crying, unnecessary stress and lack of care is what distinguished this experience. They only care about taking your money as fast as they can.
