I was beyond impressed with Rise Volleyball! The staff was warm, welcoming, and absolutely amazing with my daughter. She was a bit hesitant on her first day, but by the time she left, she was already begging to go back. Now she wants to attend their camps every week this summer! The program is run with such professionalism while still maintaining a playful, fun vibe that any child would love. Thank you for creating such a positive, fun, and encouraging environment. We will definitely be back!🙏💓
We joined Rise Volleyball last summer during one of the hardest times for our family, our daughter's grandfather was hospitalized in June and passed away at the end of the summer. Having her attend the clinics, where she immediately felt welcomed, helped her through such a sad time. The owner, Ryan, was always available to answer questions and always kept it 100% real about what they're building at Rise: confidence in these girls that goes far beyond the game of volleyball. Their selection of coaches makes a real difference. Every coach knew our daughter by name, and her two coaches (Coach Helen and Coach Brooke) were supportive all season from having the girls journal after every practice and game, to keeping them motivated through the team group text. They made it extremely fun, but also helping them grow. Communication was also excellent: tournament details, travel info, and what to expect were always thorough and up to date, so parents were never caught off guard. The parents were respectful and pleasant, and everyone cheered for and supported all the girls. On playing time: our daughter split time with another libero and got a good amount of court time. We've always raised her to believe court time is earned and to make the minutes count. The training outside of practice matters, and the mental preparation matters. Coaches aren't just looking at skills; they're looking at the girl's focus and how you support your teammates on and off the court. What also stood out to us is how the coaches handled the tough moments. When our daughter broke down a couple of times during the season, they didn’t leave her in the corner to deal with it, Coach Brooke sat her down next to her, talked through the frustration, encouraged her and she was back on within minutes. It's the little things like that that help them become the best versions of themselves. Rise went above and beyond to make the season enjoyable. They're truly building something different here. If you're looking for a positive environment with real access to the owner and coaches, this is the club.
My daughter did their summer beach volleyball camp at goldenwest, and absolutely loves it! Coaches are amazing, knowledgeable, and fun! She met friends, they cooled the kids down with fun water games, even bought them ice cream! My daughter learned new skills, and has improved. She is ready for school VB, and will be back at Goldenwest for more classes! Thankyou!!
Coaches are patient with first-time athletes. They were very encouraging and made learning the sport fun. We are looking forward to signing up again!
