Prime Volleyball is a decent place for tournaments, but it has pros and cons. The location is small with very limited seating for parents to watch. There is only one women’s restroom with three stalls — and when you have six courts running a girls volleyball tournament, you can imagine the lines. The men’s restroom situation is about the same. The courts themselves are nice and well kept, and only players are allowed on them, which is good for safety. However, the ceilings are pretty low. Overall, not bad, but the space and restroom setup could definitely be better. Plan accordingly when playing here; and show up early to get street parking.
My daughter played for Prime Volleyball club for 5 years and is graduating this year! I am so thankful to this club, the owner, it's coaches and it administrators! My daughter was blessed with learnings and growth way beyond volleyball! She learned what it means to be a team of women who support and encourage each other. She learned to trust the process and after an almost career ending injury (compound dislocation of her talus bone) she learned what it meant to be supported and valued! The coach, the owner and the team supported and encouraged her through a very difficult physical recovery, making many appearances to our home and the hospital to cheer her, reassure her and encourage her and ultimately to bring her back! There are no words that can quite describe how thankful, appreciative and blessed we have felt to be a part of this amazing volleyball family. Joining the PRIME family was the best thing we could have done for our daughter which ultimately built not only a very capable athlete, but a leader who will ultimately go out into the business world with the skills to persevere and create success within any team she is privileged to be a part of and serve!
It's a small 6 court volleyball gym. Relatively clean but small lobby so it gets crowded with all the teams. Each court has a bench for spectators but you are lucky if you get court one which has three row bleachers. There is a snack window with basic sweet and savory munchies with some fresh hot foods. Parking is a medium size lot and they charge $10 cash or card and the entrance fee is $20 cash or card. They charge $10 for kids, seniors, and military.
Coach Peyton is amazing! Even though my daughter is a beginner, Coach Peyton made her feel good about herself at every game and every practice. My daughter has been so happy learning and playing volleyball this season.
Miserable venue for a volleyball tournament. You will be packed in like sardines, standing room only while watching games, continually getting bumped by parents and players passing through to get to their games. Additionally, the line for the women's bathroom was 10-12 people deep for most of the day. Hands down the worst venue of all of the Orange County gyms our club plays in.
