We absolutely love the ‘ohana vibe at Point Break Volleyball Club! We’ve had such a great experience so far. Since my daughter started playing a year ago, we had heard consistently positive reviews about the club from friends, so we decided to give it a try. My daughter started in the Middle School Academy once a week with girls around her age and skill level. She had a blast, made new friends right away, and got lots of quality reps and playing time. We also took private lessons with Coach Mar, and they were worth every minute. She has such a great eye for the little details and made a few small adjustments to my daughter’s passing, digging, and hitting that made a big difference. Coach Mar is patient, encouraging, and really knows how to teach. After seeing how positive and welcoming all of the coaches and staff were, my daughter decided to try out for the high school girls club season—and we’re so excited that she made the Nationals travel team with Coach Loren! My daughter wants to become a highly skilled libero, and we’re looking forward to learning from Coach Loren this season. We’ve heard amazing things about his coaching and he has a funny personality which will remind the girls how to have fun while being competitive. We can’t wait to see how much she grows this next year! If you’re looking for a club that has great coaching, a fun family atmosphere, and genuinely cares about developing young athletes, I definitely recommend checking out Point Break Volleyball Club. Whether it’s clinics, private lessons, the academy, or club teams, they’ve created an awesome environment for kids to learn, compete, and love the game.
Our daughter started playing volleyball two years ago at another local club before joining Pointbreak’s elementary team in December 2024. Since then, we've seen tremendous growth in her confidence, skills, and overall understanding of the game. As an incoming 7th grader, she was honored and excited to earn a spot on one of Pointbreak’s high school teams for the upcoming season. It's a testament to the supportive and competitive environment the club provides. The coaches are outstanding—it's impossible to choose a favorite because each one genuinely cares about the players' development. They've helped our daughter improve not only her volleyball fundamentals but also her game IQ, confidence, and love for the sport. The front desk staff is always warm, welcoming, and happy to answer any questions, making every visit a great experience. From the coaching to the overall atmosphere, Pointbreak has exceeded our expectations. We are incredibly grateful to be part of the Pointbreak family and look forward to many more seasons. We highly recommend Pointbreak to any family looking for a positive, challenging, and supportive volleyball program!
Our daughter played for Point Break Volleyball Club for more than six years, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Over the years, we’ve watched the club grow while staying true to what makes it special, a family atmosphere, exceptional coaching, and a genuine commitment to developing athletes both on and off the court. As a nonprofit organization, Point Break is dedicated to making club volleyball accessible by offering scholarships so talented athletes have the opportunity to play club volleyball. The directors, administrative staff, and coaches are knowledgeable, passionate, and truly invested in each player’s success. One of the things I admire most is the club’s commitment to continuous improvement. From securing permanent facilities and investing in safety measures like AEDs to providing ongoing education and training for coaches, Point Break is always looking for ways to better serve its athletes and families. The club also has deep ties to the community through its partnerships and outreach. Whether your child is just beginning volleyball in elementary school or is preparing to play at the collegiate level, Point Break offers year round opportunities for every stage of development through clinics, camps, classes and competitive teams. Most importantly, our family made lifelong friendships through Point Break. We will always be grateful for the experiences, travel, memories, and sense of community the club gave us.. I highly recommend Point Break Volleyball Club to any family looking for a positive, supportive, and high quality volleyball program.
Been here since day 1. No doubt in the success of the program. From the day I decided to play volleyball (14 yrs old), to now bringing my little sister to her practices, the full circle moment is felt. Same coaches, same techniques, same goal. Pointbreak created a sense of community so strong I can personally say some of my favorite youth years included when I was associated with Pointbreak. It’s fulfilling to know the trust and dedication to the program has fortunately given the chance for huge improvements and spaces to grow not only as a program but as an athlete.
Point Break volleyball has been very organized, kind and communicative when it comes to navigating the volleyball world. They are always very informative and willing to work with me when I have questions. My daughter has had a great experience with the club and has made great friends. We hope to continue being part of the Point Break family.
