We absolutely love this club! LIV has been such a great environment for my daughter to learn and grow in! She started out last year as an 11 year old and has progressed so much. Her 12 U team took gold this year in one of the tournaments we did the girls were ecstatic to see their hardwork payoff! All of the coaches are positive and uplifting but also good at critiquing and correcting! The club owner Susie is super positive and charismatic and her love for volleyball is very apparent! Her coaches and all of the players look up to her and love her! If you are looking for a club that has a great positive learning environment where winning players are made, look no further than LIV! You won’t be disappointed!
We’ve been with LIV Volleyball Club since day one, and honestly, we couldn’t be happier. My daughter absolutely loves it here. The coaches have been amazing, especially Susie and Sierra. They’ve done so much more than just help her become a better volleyball player — they’ve helped her grow into a more confident, outgoing kid and a great leader. She’s learned the importance of hard work, perseverance, teamwork, and how to handle both wins and losses with a positive attitude. One thing I really appreciate about LIV is how much the coaches stress being a team and supporting each other. It’s been so awesome watching her grow not just as an athlete, but as a person. We’re so grateful to be part of the LIV family and honestly wouldn’t want to be anywhere else!
My daughter has been playing club volleyball for a total of four years, with a large part of her development coming from the past two years LIV Volleyball Club. Our initial motivation to join LIV was due to a strong coaching staff with a deep knowledge of the game and a natural attraction for talented athletes. However, over the last two years, the leadership of LIV Volleyball club has also demonstrated the emotional intelligence needed to manage team dynamics at many levels in addition to the foresight required to build a sustainable club. We have had nothing but a positive experience at LIV Volleyball Club, including an extremely supportive club culture, simple transparency regarding fees and practice schedules and not to mention approachable coaches. LIV Volleyball Club has changed my daughter‘s volleyball career and we look forward to seeing where it takes her in the future.
We had heard about Coach Susie Packard’s excellent reputation for several years prior to learning first hand from those whom she’d coached; the players and the parents could not emphasize enough that Susie is fantastic. Last season we started hearing about a new Costa Mesa/Newport club, and the buzz was growing. Curious, we attended summer clinics and were blown away by the energy, pace and skill levels of the training. We took the plunge for a longer commute to join LIV 15 Royal Susie, a big decision for us and one which we did not make lightly. We have been pinching ourselves ever since. Coach Susie takes her on-court energy and pours that too into LIV Volleyball Club to scale as its owner. She leads with integrity, in a transformational way that cares about whole-player development as opposed to just transactional wins. Her leadership trickles down through her staff and into the players and their families. This wonderful team and club that we have joined puts forth an incredible work ethic, wrapped with pure joy for the game. The culture dynamic reverberates into the parents, who come together for the whole team. And this growth mindset has empowered our daughters to double down on their efforts, embrace their mistakes, develop grit, champion their teammates, and leave it all on the court. What a team, what a club, what a coach, and what an honor it is to play here. Go LIV! 👏
So my daughter started volleyball at the age of 11 and a open gym now at the age of 15 going on 16. It’s become a love and passion for a being a part of LIV volleyball club has drastically changed my daughter‘s attitude, her level of discipline and commitment in all areas of our life. She now has a genuine love and passion for the sport and I can 100% credit that towards the coaching and community of the LIV volleyball organization, the owner Susie takes so much joy in watching her teams grow and develop. The coaches she appointed over the different age groups carry the same integrity and care for the girls and boys. I really appreciate the standard that has been set within the club. They are so helpful and I know the impact on these kids are going to mark them for their future in the sport and in all areas of their life I’ve even become a better dad by watching how they navigate my daughter through the challenges of 15-year-old girl faces in club sports. Traveling with everyone in the community is such a blast and my family now has sooo many amazing memories!! I could write so much more and I appreciation and respect for the club cannot be explained in words. Thank you to the entire team at LIV!!!! in a very big thanks to coachs Sierra, Adi and Brycen! My daughter wouldn’t be where she is that in the sport if it wasn’t for her.
