First time at the church. Everyone was very friendly and we got free flavored coffees. My older 2 grandson and Nate's girlfriend, went with me. They loved the church. We will definitely will be returning. Great teaching, also.
Horizon Church is our home church even though we are no longer living in the states. My husband and our family moved to Canada 1 1/2 ago, and really miss our anointed church family! The worship team is one of the best if not the best in the high desert! And pastor Larry is a man filled with the Holy Spirit along with his awesome wife. May Our Lord Bless Horizon Church.... Visit Horizon and be part of our family..
My husband and I have been members of the church for over 3 years. We have found it to be a church that meets the needs of all family members with Jesus Christ as its focal point. You don't have to worry about dressing up in fancy clothing, just come with an open heart, ready to worship God and learn about His Word.
One of the worst services i been too,in the beginning of the service where a woman Pastor ask the the Male Pastor can she do her thing what GOD TOLD HER TO DO verbally in front of the congregation right after in the beginning after song worship,the Male Pastor in Charge can't say NO he was on the spot in front of the congregation,so the female Pastor gets all emotional and speaks like commanding not asking the congregation what to do,the most famous subject tell Jesus to help you on whatever your going thru right now then moving forward she is done with her little deliverance service and the Male Pastor says we are going to take communion for the first time differently in groups then right after that the same female Pastor takes over again ughhh and had another mini service,when she is done the Pastor boast with jokes about a trip with other Pastors to ISRAEL and talks to congregation to pray for each day volunteers to pray for him daily assignments,he talks a little on what God put in his Spirit to say in 15min devotional to the group going to ISRAEL,no sermon, as a Pastor to feed the flock worst service This is what happens when you put women in position as Pastors with a Male Pastor in the same Church the women will usurp the position from another Pastor in a manner where sometimes the Male Pastor has no control over the service and no where is found in Scripture for female Pastors to do service, the women will usurp and obstruct even another Male Pastor can do the same in the same church, God speaks to the set Male Pastor...Anyways,as a Prophet for GOD I confronted the Male Pastor after he ended the service and asked him to show me one scripture where women can be Pastors with you as the Male Pastor, he answered and said in the New TESTAMENT I said what scripture is it because there is none, he then says an old testament story nothing in New TESTAMENT,how GOD used a woman and i said that's not even in the position as Pastor he said well thats not how he sees it and goes straight to his 4 square churches teaching what was taught to him and that he empowers women he was so ERRONEOUS and couldn't even give me a scripture that says woman can be Pastors, this is what happens when you add the doctrine of your denominational church and add to the pure word of God,I told him women used by God but never to do Pastoral position,he couldn't even come up with a scripture and so he told me i was wrong 3 times then i said your wrong that you are can't even give me a scripture and just mimicking your leaders and your four square church doctrine you came from is not Gods Holy Word what they think on women Pastors is they empower them is so unscriptural, to my conclusion as a Prophet of GOD. The Spirit of God told me in my mind to go to this church for my first time i saw what was the problem churches are adding their DOCTRINE against Gods word written and not following instructions to the structure of how a church is to be structured for the body of christ the bride of Christ. In fact one other Pastor friend of mine said if no man can stand up to be the Pastor in a church and then a women can temporarily help and pray for a Male Pastor to take the position. Thank you Lord for helping me as a Evangelist for me to stand bodly and do your will in my life,that Pastors and Teachers hate it when a Evangelist of God comes to help correct.
Horizon is a fun family friendly church. We may be small, but we are doing big things for the Kingdom!!!! Horizon Church has something for everyone in the family...
