Our daughter has had a very positive experience with AAA Sports Club in Irvine. What we appreciate most is that the coaches actually focus on teaching and developing the girls rather than simply running drills and moving everyone through the program. Our daughter is excited about volleyball and has become much more motivated to improve. I noticed some of the negative reviews before we joined, and after dealing with AAA ourselves, they honestly did not reflect our experience at all. I would recommend that parents visit, talk with the coaches, and judge the program based on their own child’s experience.
We had a wonderful experience at AAA Volleyball Club. The atmosphere is very welcoming and positive, and the coaches are attentive, supportive, and truly focused on the players. My daughter is almost 14 years old, and she has really enjoyed training here. We especially appreciate the convenient location and the good balance between the quality of coaching and the cost. Thank you to the coaches and everyone at AAA for creating such a great environment for young athletes. We are very happy with our experience!
As a former player, I had a very negative experience at this club. My experience with Coach Christian made me lose enjoyment for the sport, and I felt his coaching style negatively affected team morale. One incident that especially concerned me was being grabbed so forcefully during a substitution that it left marks on my arm. When I asked about it, I was told it was because substitutions needed to happen quickly. Regardless of the reason, I did not think that level of physical contact was appropriate and my other teammates were being treated with the same level of respect. I also felt that my concerns about his coaching were not taken seriously. When I raised issues, I received a generic response suggesting I move to the club's 2s team rather than addressing my concerns. Additionally, I heard one of the club's co-owners advise others not to coach in "Coach Christian's style," which reinforced my impression that there were concerns about his methods. This review reflects my personal experience. I would encourage prospective players and parents to carefully consider whether this club is the right fit for them.
My daughter plays at triple a on the 16-1 and she absolutely loves Coach Sophia. She has so much fun and triple a is her favorite club out of the 3 that she has been too!
Both of my daughters have really enjoyed their volleyball classes here! The coaches have done an amazing job inspiring them—especially my younger daughter—to stay motivated and continue playing. She looks forward to her volleyball class every week with so much excitement! Harriett, who handles registration and scheduling, is always polite, caring, and very attentive. My overall experience has been wonderful. I truly appreciate the flexibility of the program and how the coaches pay attention to each individual player. Highly recommend this program to any parent looking for a positive and encouraging environment for their kids!
