Our specific coach at 951 was too young to coach this team at the travel/club level. Just because you play college ball doesn’t mean you have to wear with all to Coach and it doesn’t appear they get the proper training for guidance. Like any sports outfit there is a fair amount of favoritism, for 10 & 11 yr olds seems a bit excessive. The unfortunate problem we saw with this club was our team consistently lost, time after time, and there is still that favoritism amongst those players. If you have a team that is consistently dominating then I could possibly understand but when you’re coaching a losing team, why not let others participate in the loss. In my opinion, there are other clubs in the valley that will both teach your children skills and fundamentals while building them up as a young athlete.
951 Elite Volleyball has been a great place for our son to train. It’s a complete level up from any other volleyball gym in town. We’ve been to almost all of them, and this is by far the most advanced program we’ve found. What stands out most is that they genuinely care about the athletes and their development. It doesn’t feel like you’re just another customer or part of a business transaction. The coaches are invested in helping players improve and reach their potential. After spending years at another gym, the difference has been night and day. We highly recommend 951 Elite to any family looking for quality volleyball training and a positive, competitive environment.
We’ve had such a great experience at 951 Elite. I’ve been a coach, umpire, referee, and athlete of many sports in my lifetime. I’ll be honest, I hesitated at first because when my daughter asked to play club. Many club teams out there are full of petty and catty drama that I just won’t expose my kid to. We’ve experienced absolutely nothing like that here. Coach Danielle and Coach Asher have been so great to Jojo, she loves the entire coaching staff and the community here. If you’re a parent looking for a place for child to belong and are worried about the same things I was on my search for a quality team, look no further than 951 Elite. ❤️
Coach is young and needs a lot of work in how to coach a team. If he’s taking over 951 ….hmmmm
Everyone is very friendly there! I do recommend going here for volleyball practice if your interested. Coach Lauren is a very amazing Coach, she is very nice and funny like one time she brought us cookie and they were amazing but her coaching is very good too! I been going here for 8 months and so far everything is perfect!
