Very disappointed on how 949 is hosting the SoCal cup tourney. There is not even a simple table provided for the officials, yet they charge $20 per spectator. I would think it is basic respect to the tourney and officials. It would be very appreciated if the arrangement can be more professional.
The floors are uneven on the 3 courts. The spectator seats upstairs were rusty. Very hot! Smelled like tacos con cebolla in there. 🤢 and they charged $20! Parking in free. No food near by.
I sent this review as a parent with kids playing in the great volleyball league. 949 club’s court is among the worst from the several available venues, but it decide to charge $20 per person for the 6/1 tournament with only 2 games. This is not about the $, but it is about to charge a fair price and not go over the extreme to “rip off” the volleyball families. Just think about it. College volleyball games always give us discount and you only need pay about $7 for a tournament. I sent this review NOT only for 949, but also as a general opinion for all of the clubs who may host some tournaments, think about charging with reasonable price; with a goal to grow the volleyball community. Thank you!
Best club in so-cal! Coaches are very nice and supportive! Jasleen is very excited to be part of 949
Way too small for a tournament. Very limited to no seating available. NO ventilation, therefore making it hot and stuffy. Cash only. NOT worth the $20/person admission fee. Only reason getting 2 stars is because parking is free(shared with multiple other businesses). Not a very good place to spend 6+ hrs for a volleyball tournament.
